So here are the completed Raspberry Pi 5s.

Both are Raspberry Pi 5 8GB with official coolers and Logitech Unifying Reciever / keyboard / mouse setups.
The black on on the left has a Geekworm X1002 NVME base, Geekworm P580 case and a Crucial P3 Plus 2TB PCIe M.2 NVME. This is my at home Linux workstation. I have the NVME running pci gen 3 and it is plenty fast enough for the work I am doing including video editing.
The Raspberry Red one has a Pimoroni NVME base, Crucial P3 Plus 4TB PCIe M.2 NVME, and a custom 3D printed case. This one is getting stuck to the back of my monitor and installed in my RV / Campervan for mobile IT and video processing work. Same as the black one the NVME is operating pcie gen 3 speeds and seems to be happy at that.
OS and application loads at this point are identical.
Raspberry Pi OS 64 bit, set to use X11 instead of Wayland until the apps get happy with wayland that is, GNOME and KDE Plasma installed, with the greeter that allows me to pick my desktop enabled. GIMP, Inkscape, KDEnlive, Audacity, clamav, and clamtk above and beyond the "regular" default OS load stuff. I am certain I am not done with that.
I need my mechanic to complete the work he is doing on my camper, big job so taking a while, once I get it back in by then hopefully I will have 12v power solution for the pi sorted out (How to convert 12v DC to 5v 5A DC power to make the Pi happy), install the monitor on a swing arm wall mount so I can use it from the swivelled around captains chair passengers seat / counter top, OR from the bed for viewing.
I still need to figure out how to set up the WinTV to it and make that happy.
