Compute Modules and Pi5 have 4-lane DSI.Hey I'm an engineer on the HSSC team at Texas Instruments, and I'm looking to create a bridge between the DSI output of a raspberry pi device to the DSI input for one of our EVMs.
I have the Raspberry Pi 4 model B, but it seems that device only have one DSI lane available; I'm looking for 4-lanes. I am not as familiar with the compute series but I saw one of them has a 4 lane DSI output. What is the interface that the DSI signal will be sent out from. Do you have a CAD file for the connector/ cable.
I'm looking to create a daughter-card for our DSI86 EVM which will interface to the Raspberry Pi via a short ribbon cable, but a cable with better signal quality is preferred.
I'm also not as familiar with the firmware to drive the DSI signal on the Raspberry Pi, do you have any reference driver code?
If I were you I would simply use the in-tree driver for DSI86 Image may be NSFW.
