Do I need to enable the RTC on a Raspberry Pi 5? When I re-power the Pi, the time is not up to date.
I have created a 3.3V power for the RTC (I am setting it up to use in a vehicle so deriving the 3.3V from the main 12V supply) that applies the 3.3V even when the Pi is turned off.
If not, is there a test point that I can check the 3.3V is correctly applied? My source is reading 3.3V but that doesn't guarantee that my assembly of the connector is mating correctly and ensuring that the voltage is getting to the RTC itself.
