Requires careful implementation to render it. The counters are only on the target side. The memory architecture of the RP2040 can be used to work this out. (SMP using flash does not support this feature at all. However you can support SMP.)the performance counters in the bus system might be close enough for your purposes?
Basically move the text section to a specific target and exclude all other initiators from accessing this target. The XIP flash only has/needs one access port. (Dual core with 32/64 bit access on Von Nuemann architecture is scalar limit for RP2040's current implementation.)
