So I have a standard pi 4 Power Supply with a USB C to Micro USB adapter and my Pi runs fine... but I need to use this one with some additional loads and relays an such so I have a Pimoroni Automation hat attached. As a result, I wanted to use a larger capacity 5V supply so I have a 5V 5A supply I'm using. Think "metal frame Meanwell-like Switching Supply", the kind with the row of screw terminals and a small voltage adjustment trim pot.
I can adjust the output so it delivers 5.1V but my pi refuses to do a complete boot process with this supply and my best guess is that its not getting a stable 5V... Am I just using a bad power supply or is there something I should know about this kind of power source?
