That sounds like a hardware defect that is worth arranging a return. Have you made any progress?Thank you for the suggestion. The port appears to be fine. In addition to not transferring data, there seems to be no power at the port. I plugged in a pico with an attached led and it did not light up. While the same pico/led set-up powers on immediately in the other three ports.
