I see it's got a bi-directional level shifter.As descripted in the manual the TTL1 front-end circuit has a 10.0kOhm pull-up and 470Ohm series resistors.
It's recommended to have just a 4.7K pull-up resistor on the bus. The combination of the 4.7K series resistor and 10K pull-up may be too high and lead to a degraded signal.
