General • Baremetal for RP-PicoW

Hello,
I recently started using RP-Pico W. Is there a way to do register level programming with the Pico board ? I understand that there is C/C++ SDK available for Pico but I'm looking for something like ESP-IDF which is used for ESP-32.

I went through the RP2040 datasheet and there is a detailed mention of different registers available and such so using that and C/C++ SDK will I be able to do it?
