It seems that the new card is slightly smaller (111673344 bytes).
You can also use GPartEd on your 'normal computer' to copy partitions and shrink one on the new SD so they fit. That way you can still keep the old SD unchanged.
Sure, if your "normal computer" is running Linux.
But that in and of itself that won't actually help. The boot partition's contents will still point at the second partition and even if that is changed they may not be compatible with the OS on the third partition (for example, the kernel is loaded from the boot partition and the modules in the root partition must match it).
And you can't just write the volumio* image to that drive as doing so will replace eveything on it including the third partition.
There are ways around that besides PINN but I've not detailed (or previously mentioned them) as they are not suitable for a beginner.
