Hi
I have a few updates.
1. I need to correct the results of the test of the 2024-07-04 image. The OS, without the updates applied, results in the looping issue started taking place. In other words, the issue was in present in the 2024-07-04 image (with no updates) but was not present in the 2024-03-15 image. My apologies if my previous observations caused you to go down the wrong path.
2. I attempted to isolate which module update may have caused the issue by starting with the 2024-03-15 image and then selectively applying the updates, as described in the earlier note. On a clean image I attempted to update the following modules: firmware-brcm80211, agnostics/stable and nano/stable. In each case the update of the single module resulted in 207 module updates, 25 new modules and 4 modules to be removed. I would guess that the individual module was 'marked' as required other co-dependent modules.
3. I prepared the Bookworm 2024-07-04 image for a Pi 4. The OS, without the updates applied, loaded with no looping of the blanking and sleep cycle. The updates were then applied and again there was no looping of the blanking and sleep cycle.
I appreciate your continued support and look forward any suggestions.
Thank you
