Sorry I probably should have added more details.
With the standard PiOS Bookworm (after apt upgrade) it does not boot when the SATA (ASM 1064) PCIe card is install.
If I add "pcie_aspm=off pcie_ports=compat" to cmdline.txt then Bookwork with boot with the SATA card intalled, however it will not boot if there are any SATA drives connected.
If I boot without the SATA drive connected and then hot-plug the drives after it boots, it seems to work but it is not really practical to hot-plug the NAS drives after every reboot.
