Yes, that could be it. It worked on the 32" TCL TV so I thought TV USB ports provided enough. I will test it with power straight from an outlet. Thanks!How are you powering the Pi? If you are using a usb socket from the TV, then that is unlikely to work (typically USB2 only support 500mA).
