I've been quite impressed by the performance of DuckDB on Pi5 with 8Gb RAM. TPCDS at scale factor 100 creates a 28Gb database with tables up to 300million rows. I expected most queries to fail at this scale, but was surprised that almost all succeeded, with only the worst memory abusers - maybe 10 queries in total - actually failed.
Given that you can use DuckDB with languages such as Python or Go, you might find it suitable for your needs. But keep in mind, the more memory taken by your code, the less available for data Image may be NSFW.
