Has anyone found a way to simply watch TV on a pi with the use of the HDHR3-US tuner?
It seems the world is conspiring against this device, determined to ensure each and every last one ends up cluttering a landfill, despite the fact the hardware may be perfectly find, and would work just fine if people would stop pulling support and making it impossible to use.
I've searched high and low, and have found bits and pieces of things, but nothing that equates to a working method to use the device. Many things reference using a command called hdhomerun_config, and while many instructions include use of this command, no instructions actually include a working method of installing this on a pi, or doing anything successful with it.
All I've found are a bunch of half completed steps with no actual working solution.
So, has anyone, anyone at all, managed to get this box to do anything other than look pretty in this day and age?
