Unfortunately, no. Changing that setting does nothing to change the fan spinning once the red light comes on. I already mentioned trying that in my original post and was convinced it would work when I first tried it, but it did notIf you add the setting
POWER_OFF_ON_HALT=1
to the firmware configuration, does the fan stop when the Pi is shut down?
