Newer boards have a different PMIC which I believe is less replicable, it also has different circuitry so you can't drop an old PMIC into a newer board (and vice-versa).Thank you. Which component on the board should I be looking at testing or replacing? (and what are the specs)

Even on the older boards, the Raspberry Engineers who are normally happy and helpful with repairs, were never happy about the replacement PMIC trick.
