Yes, I've got one of those as well, but I didn't want to take it apart to make it fit in the printer casing. I got a very cheap (fake USB3*), and had the 1000Mb ethernet adaptor already. I removed the USB sockets from the hub and soldered wires from it to the printer and ethernet. I haven't quite finished it yet, but it is running better that when I was relying on a Zero W with wifi.
@OP: don't read too much into a reported 1000Mbps link speed. Actual throughput will be restricted by the 480Mbps available over USB 2.
Indeed, and I suspect I don't get anywhere near that speed even.

[*] The sort with USB3 passthrough on one socket and a USB2 hub chip.
