You have missed the fact that the ordering in the string is RIGHT to LEFT (however illogical that may seem).

That's an example where it boots (read right to left): 1 (uSD) -> 6 (NVMe) -> 4 (USB)->RESTART

little and big endian may be equal illogical. Boot order is clearly described in the documentation, I've pointed out how to read it --> OP will have to understand, otherwise not able to support
