If you see the video, the pi5 shuts down before the drive finishes spinning up and then it gives a clank sound.
When shutting down the pi5 with the drive unmounted, the hdd doesn’t produce the clank so all is well.
I’m thinking, how about a bash script that runs when pressing the pi5 button and it unmounts the drive before running shutdown?
How could I achieve that?
Ps the hdd is ntfs and mounted in fstab, I’m on the latest raspbian and use wayfire if that helps.
Thanks
