You ignored the part in my instructions of "If you press ctrl-alt-f2 to drop to a console,"I updated + upgrades the raspberry pi with 'sudo apt-get update' and 'sudo apt-get upgrade' + 'sudo reboot'.
When i used 'sudo apt install kms++-utils' it said everything was up to date. 'kmstest --device=/dev/dri/card1' resulted in "Could not get DRM master permission. Card already in use?".
If you're still in any of the windowing systems (ie Xserver, Wayfire, or labwc) then it will be the DRM master and you won't be able to use kmstest.
Can you please give me the output from "kmsprint", "kmsprint --device=/dev/dri/card1", and "kmsprint --device=/dev/dri/card2"?The display cable is inserted to DISP1. With "[...] /card0" it shows "press enter to exit" and doesnt render anything. The screen just looks the same as if i didnt input any command at all. This doesnt seem correct to me.
I really can't think of a way for that form of ghosting to occur on the 720x1280 Touch Display 2. On the original 800x480 Display I can.
