Raspberry Pi OS • Re: mouse cursor bad

I did a new install of pi os the latest 64bit version - on pi5. The mouse cursor looked ok.
Then I switched to X because that works with remote X apps. later I thought well maybe it is better with X apps remote now.

WELL... the cursor block instead of arrow is back.

I had installed welle.io, audacious, filezilla, idle, and ristretto and naut else.

Does anyone else have this? labwc yuk via hdmi with hdmi to vga adapter to a viewsonic vga.

So back to good old X - without even trying the X apps.
