Rebooting one's router is an often given advice that mysteriously and magically fixes a lot of problems.
Nobody understands (or cares) why.
BTW, sometimes just letting time go by accomplishes the same results.
And sometimes, I think that rebooting routers (And similar tricks, such as unplugging and re-plugging a USB cable) is just something for you to do to pass the time while the time goes by.
