It's a replacement for X11vnc which doesn't work on systems configured with the Wayland/labwc display manager. So your X11vnc solution won't work without end-user additional configuration. Raspberry Pi Connect works in one of two modes, on my ancient old machines it gives a command line, on a modern system (like my RPi5) it gives a desktop. You can use either mode on a system with Wayland graphics configured. Headless systems with limited memory probably don't have graphics defined.BTW, I've seen posts on the forum to the effect that this new "Raspberry Pi Connect" thing is supposedly a replacement for VNC. From what little I know about it, it doesn't seem like an accurate assessment. How accurate do you think that is?
