Beginners • Re: Why is .config owned by root by default?

All Linux and UNIX would have the same problem, it isn't a problem with Raspberry Pi OS.
I have just checked, and on a barebones installation of Raspberry PI OS Lite 64-bit with no commands ran at all, I am seeing .config being owned by root, whereas a fresh installation of my steamdeck shows the same folder owned by my user account.
I am not sure where to raise that, but it is a problem. I wonder why it is happening.
