If its your "hand-assembled custom board" why does it have the connectorization wrong? It not like the orientation and pin assignment on the GPIO was a big secret or has changed recently.I think I'll try that for now to avoid having to redo my relatively freshly hand-assembled custom board yet again. But that's only a temporary solution.
