I've found the Pi5 power supply very tolerant to short brown-outs and noise, it is unlikely a normal UPS switching would cause it problems.
I switched my HP UPS to battery today for its regular cycling and as usual the Pi5 was totally unaffected.
If your UPS batteries are more than 2 years old then there is a chance they are getting old, I used to leave them in forever but I had a power fail within two weeks of me doing a self-test and the batteries crashed when they were 3 years old. I change the batteries at 2 years now and testing them on removal they are noticeably less than optimal. However if the batteries failed I would expect your UPS to indicate this.
Your UPS appears to use the same batteries as mine, a pair of 12V 7AH selaed lead acid. Make sure the spade connectors are tight on the batteries.
