I was replacing a Pi 4 with a Pi 5 yesterday.
After needing the Pi 4 for another run, two things happened:
1) The microSD card fell of the table (boot disk still readable in Windows even it says there's an issue but then chkdsk does not find one)
2) I powered the Pi 4 once with a strong power supply
I don't exactly recall when the issue appeared. Now I put in the power supply, the red LED instantly is constantly on, the green blinks one time and stays constantly on too.
Tried with another SD card. Tried without an SD card. What the...?
It's a rather expensive 8 GB version and I have plans for that hardware even the previous use-case has changed.
What can and should I try with the Pi 4? So many posts here, I don't know which bootloader-recovery-magic-tool might be the best try.
