Hmmm, 1,8 mA could do just WFIing (2,6 mA running and doing math) at XOSC 12 MHz with stuff (unused clocks and clock sources) turned off (ARM and 3,2 V at VSYS, and release binaries copied to ram with flash shut down). 60 uA are "wasted" by SMPS just in a form of quiescent current on Pico (2). Maybe something's wrong with examples.
