Hi
I was led to believe that it would provide a 'pull to ground' feature that could not be done with just the PI and the Relay module.
I have never been able to get any information on the Relays I am using. From looking at your reference you are saying that everything I need is already on each relay already..
https://electronics.stackexchange.com/q ... -raspberry
The board in the middle, I believed, was to 'pull to ground' any back EMF from the relay board. If you are saying that cannot ever happen if connected properly then I am fine with not using it. I will redraw my diagram and show it here for your review.
Thank you for your assistance I really appreciate it ...
