Thanks again! I just installed “More Ram” via pi-apps, and began firstboot again.

It’s past the previous point of failure, and now doing “Getting files ready for installation (3%)”.

FYI: top reports that qemu is currently using 2.6g; I saw it using up to 3.1g a few minutes ago.
