Beginners • Re: I am looking to setup a pi zero in ad-hoc or access point mode (Bookworm).

As stated, I am looking to set up a pi zero in ad-hoc or access point mode... I am unable to find any newer guides on doing this with Pi OS, Bookworm.
I could be wrong but I believe that ZERO is only 32bit and can't run Bookworm. The PI Imager says to use 32 bit Bulleye.
You are wrong. Image may be NSFW.

Yes, the Zero is 32-bit only. But it runs 32-bit Bookworm quite happily Image may be NSFW.

:D

Code:

pdom@raspi3:~ $ grep Model /proc/cpuinfo Model: Raspberry Pi Zero Rev 1.3rpdom@raspi3:~ $ head -2 /etc/os-release PRETTY_NAME="Raspbian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm)"NAME="Raspbian GNU/Linux"rpdom@raspi3:~ $ dpkg --print-architecture armhf
PI Imager shows Bullseye for the Zero, as that is the recommended OS for it, but if you don't select a board type you can then choose 32-bit Bookworm Lite which runs just fine. I wouldn't run a desktop on a Zero.
