Hey all, I’m running the latest konstakang TV version on a pi5 8gb model and I cannot get hardware video decoding working.
I’ve tried every setting under Settings -> System -> Raspberry Pi settings -> Hardware video decoding and encoding (and rebooted each time I changed this) but hardware decoding just doesn’t seem to work. When I try to play a 4k video in Kodi it shows a frame or two and plays audio but is unwatchable. In Kodi under settings -> Player -> Videos -> Processing both “Allow hardware acceleration- MediaCodec(Surface)” and “Allow hardware acceleration - MediaCodec” are turned on.
