As you have not described your hardware and software environment it is not possible to take this further. I also have my own work to do. I suggest you read up on how threading actually works in CPython if you are using a Raspberry Pi, or on how the PWM hardware works if you are using a Pico. Threading has a very specific and limited meaning on the Pico when using MicroPython.
