Is it possible for me to install a MySQL database on my Raspberry Pi, that is accessible over the Internet?

I was looking online and only found options that require static IP address. Is this the only option?

You should be looking at mariadb-common mariadb-server and mariadb-client they superceded MySQL a number of years ago.

I've not seen anything about using a static address but my mariadb server system has a static address anyway.
