good afternoon.
i just noticed in github that 6.12.25 was made available several hours ago.
i imaged a sd card with the 64-bit november 19th image. configured it and ran 'apt update', 'apt full-upgrade', 'rpi-update' and rebooted.
the good news is that the rtl8812bu is now detected and connecting to my local wi-fi now.
'uname -a' confirms that 6.12.25 is loaded.
the bad news is that there now seems to be an issue with the keyboard dongle when it is plugged directly plugged into a usb 2 port on the pi. the connection led on the keyboard keeps going on/off and while the connection led is on cursor control is very erratic to nonexistent. the behavior is the same when i plug the dongle directly into a usb 3 port on the pi. when i plug the dongle into my usb hub the keyboard works normally.
the keyboard is a Rii Wireless Keyboard model K22S-Black. it is both bluetooth and has a 2.4G dongle. i am using the dongle so don't have to re-pair the keyboard when i boot different sd cards on the pi. the hub is a Yottamaster USB Hub model 3AT (3 USB A 3.0 Ports and SD/TF Card Reader) and it is (of course) plugged into a usb 3 port on the pi. and for just for overkill purposes, i also have a Belkin 20W USB-C Power Delivery Wall Charger model WCA006dq connected to the hub. although i will probably never connect anything to the hub that will require more power than the hub can provide by itself.
i would guess that something is causing the keyboard dongle to reset time after time. but that is just a guess on my part.
please let me know if i should create a new thread for this issue.
and of course, thank you for your support. please have a good day.
