Other RP2040 boards • Do I need a protecting diode?

I have a RP2040-Zero to control a high current LED with PWM through a LED-Driver.
  • GP14 should be used to transmit a PWM signal to control the LED-Driver, which controls the LED.
  • GP28 should be used to cycle through LED animation modes via switch.
The circuit seems simple, but I'm a bit concerned I have overlooked something and need somewhere a Diode to protect the RP2040. Maybe even higher resistors?

I'm really new to this, could someone please tell me if I did something wrong?
