I've tried with Pico2W and it works (without LED), but I don't like it, so still using a Pico 1 clone (without WiFi).
You can try to load debugprobe_on_pico.uf2 (not other image!) from here: https://github.com/raspberrypi/debugprobe/releases
The UART bridge works well.
