I'm getting an undefined transaction error when installing ttymidi 0.202Yes overlays can fix the clock, so playing with clock dividers directly won't help you a lot. For the PI5, midi-uart0-pi5 does the job.Still I'm not sure if Os overlays take over and fluctuates the clock, need to learn this part way better to deal with it...
Pi4B - Bookworm ( updated to sudo rpi-update f810e0a ), changed config txt with one overlay, and core freq 250, bt just manually disabled, as i got some
dmesg warning after the package failed to install - it did install without problems on bullseye, previously...
Basically the system was fresh new...
how to install ttymidi-sysex is a bit of a problem really the olny solution I got working
previously (Pi5 was the last time I manged to do it) was nanoing into ttyimidi.c and pasting ttymidi-sysex, there is not a lot on instructions on github. I also forgot to immediately chack if there were intel and nvidia drivers to uninstall with synaptic and got a boot loop...
might have to reflash the OS again... aaand again we go... I chose the full version... now going LITE 64 Bookworm...
ok, now copied to home and sudo install worked... let's hope
download unsandbxed.. cant be accessed by user __apt pkgacquire (13 permission denied)...
