What's used on original Pico2:
connected to 5v: 5k6 (instead of your 220k)
connected to ground: 10k (instead of your 330k)
It takes 1 to 2 seconds to detect when the USB port is off, but it works! Thanks.
There is probably some capacitance on the 5V line of the USB output port, which will keep the output high for a short time after the TV is turned off. The charge will slowly leak away and eventually change the state of the GPIO, so you won't get an instant "off" indication.
