sorry, did not bother in reading all the moaning posts on HDMI audio not working (as there are too many by you).
If your HW on hands doesn't advertises the features "it should" via it's EDID then simply let the Pi load the 'correct EDID' from file by simply adding the required statement to kernel command line.
having a correct EDID is neither RPT nor Linux maintainers resposibility.
did that i.e. here viewtopic.php?p=2155762&hilit=Hdmi+audio#p2153560 with an EDID that fakes a FHD screen with multichannel audio
