Troubleshooting • Re: Pi 5 series annoying fan at start-up.

Is there any way to turn off the fan detection at startup? I am not talking about the fan turning on for the bootloader but afterwards when it is testing if the fan is connected or not.

1. don't restart your Pi that often .. will become anoying too
2. a fan connected to GPIO, add dtoverlay=pwm-gpio-fan to /boot/firmware/config.txt for controlling it. such fan won't spin Up at boot
