Can confirm that the OwlSight 64MP "just works". One has to be a little careful with buffer choice so you don't run out of memory, but it takes picture as expected and I can find many uses for 14 MB 9248x6944 images.

Most of Arducam's newer camera range works without their software and only the correct overlay loaded at boot. At work, we don't need (or really want) autofocus. They do a fixed focus camera with the same field of view as the v3 wide camera and the same imx708 sensor (Arducam 12MP IMX708 102 Degree Wide-Angle Fixed Focus). Personally, I really like their 12MP IMX708 HDR 120°(H) Wide Angle fixed focus camera, but The Boss didn't so we're not using it.

I finally got a monitor hooked up to my camera test box, and RPiCamGUI is pretty neat!
Thanks for the comment on RPICamGUI.

Are any of the Arducams identified by camera_auto_detect ? I assume no.

With the above Arducam cameras do you use dtoverlay=imx708 and they identify as imx708 with rpicam-vid --list-cameras ?
I ask because in RPiCamGUI I believe they will be identified as a Pi camera v3 with AF. I can look at trying to distinguish between them if its an issue.
