I agree. I've gone back to using SD cards because they are cheap and simple. With lots of memory (16GB Pi5) the slower performance of SD cards is a non-issue (for my use). I use high endurance sandisk cards, but over more than a decade using Pi's I have never had longevity issues. I do take basic precautions to reduce "wear and rear" of course.Issues related to SD Cards seem to be over-stated IMO.
Longevity is a reason to avoid "refurbished" computers because you have no idea if the previous owner cared about such things.
Does anyone have any idea how an Intel Celeron J4105 compares in performance with a 3GHz 16GB Pi5?
