If the top of the case/heatsink is flat enough I would put a small pan filled with water on it and see what it does. I did that on the horizontal one in here download/file.php?id=73839 while doing kernel builds.Unfortunately not enough to cook potatoes as well as cputemp got only 44 degrees or so. Was no overclocking effort. I do not know what "[Not for Dial-Up]" is for in the topic title.
