Pi4 (2GB RAM) Bookworm with all updates is working OK for me with VNC Viewer 6.21 on WIndows 10 and v7.13 on WIndows 11On that spare 8GB card, did you install stock Bookworm, enable VNC and try VNC Viewer, then do updates and re-try?
