Hey guys, I'm completely new to Raspberry Pi but I have some past experiences with simple programming and some RTU/PLC programming.

Here is what i want to achieve.
I want to have a control are where person in charge can reset buttons and do other things maybe (ill figure out what those are later) at the very least turn on the buttons and reset the buttons.

Also in addition to that I want to have at least a two button system
.
At the start all the buttons need to be disable so no one can cheat and press before the turn has started.

Once the person in charge decides that the turn is ready then they can enable all the buttons, but also i want to have a 1 minute timer when all the buttons get enabled! once the 1 minute timer runs out the buttons should get disabled again until they are enabled and the timer starts again.

so when the buttons get enable the players can then press their buttons.
when a button gets pressed, the one that is pressed first, lights up and also makes a light turn on (I want to put LEDs around a table and make the table light up). The other buttons would be disabled.

I want to make sure the person running the show is able to reset the buttons but while the one minute timer is still running. the purpose of resetting the buttons is incase the team that presses the button first does not get the answer correctly the buttons get all turned on for another turn but keep in mind all this while the timer is going.

ones the timer is done than all the buttons get disable until another turn.

Please let me know what hardware I should get and software and maybe even help me out with the code needed? thanks guys
