I have an old install (Raspian Buster) of an audio media player based on mpd that's been running for years. Hardware is RPi3A+, and a Hifiberry for audio out. Audio files are on my NAS box, which is mounted by the RPi3A+ as a NFS drive, via Wifi.
I changed my fibre/wifi router, and mpd stopped working. I've traced one problem, which was mpd was running out of inode watches, so I increased the number of inode watches, and now, according to it's log, it seems stable. However I can't get the local mpc to connect to it. It just times out.
Any pointers to trying to solve this problem would be appreciated.
