Troubleshooting • Raspberry Pi Imager do not save OS settings

Hi together,

I'm new her so hello everybody.
I tried to find an answer for my problem, but I wasn't able to find a matching discussion.

Hopefully you can give me support, so solve this new problem sice I updated to Win11.

It's the first time, that I have this strange problem, an I used a lot of times the RPI Imager to build my RPI's.

So here is my problem:
It looks like that this porblem exist with the imagertool after I upgraded win10 to win11. Maybe?!

So the acutally the Imager saves no OS settings I change and save to build my images on the SSD sticks.
I tried to reset the Imager with reset all setting...
I tried to deinstall it and reinstall it...
I tried to deinstall it, clean the win11 registry and reinstall it....
I tried to change to default (reset all settings) after the doing one line up and than to write it on the stick and try to login.
But everytime the Imager changes all (mayba some) OS settings to something other I need for setup and log into my headless rpi3 with the actual lite 64bit Raspberry OS.
The main issue is, that everytime I try the imager changes the ssh OS setting from password to public-key, but everytime I do, the key is different to the last one.
Last try was to setup manually with the ssh datei in the boot image, but this also fails and the installation wants an public-key, I never set.

Actually I don't have another PC to reproduce this issue on another (but I'll try). Maybe someone knows something about this issue.

So actually for me there is no way to install a new OS with the RPI imager on my PI's.
Help me please.
Hopfully none of my PI's will go down, so that I have to setup one new.

Thanks
Martin
