Troubleshooting • Attempting to create a voice input & output chat GPT chatbot on a Raspberry PI 5

Hi

I'm interested in setting up a chatbot that uses chatgpt - using an openai api key - and have attempted to follow some youtube videos for guidance.

This area is all rather new to me.

I also purchased a really cheap sub £10 microphone which may be inadequate. Any recommendations for a suitable microphone would be appreciated.

So far I haven't got the microphone to work at all so far... I don't know if that is a microphone problem

Has anyone else here attempted to create a chatGPT chatbot, if so any tips would be appreciated.
