It's a pity the Intel Optane storage never lived up the hype. It would have made a good nVME SSD, and perhaps even micro-SD medium...Using NVM for video file editing wears the Flash out like nothing else, hence my suggestion. But yes I use a PC for it, it was just a suggestion for those who use Pis for everything.
